It’s Derrick from Hot Country Mornings. I’ve always said that country music paints a picture! Shortly after this happened on air, I got a call from a lady who was touched with what I said, and what I do for my daughter.
She explained to me that she was recently reunited with her Father after not seeing him when she was growing up (it’s been 15 years since she saw him). She explained to me that tears started to flow before the song even started, and then when she listened closely to the lyrics, the tears flowed and flowed. Thankfully they were tears of joy, finally having her Father in her life.
