A new study by Harvard reveals that drinking a beer a day can reduce your risk of heart disease by 20%.
Researchers studied 50,000 people to see how moderate alcohol consumption affects the heart. The school says, ”The thought is that moderate amounts of alcohol may have effects on the brain that can help you relax, reduce stress levels and, perhaps through these mechanisms, lower the incidence of cardiovascular disease.”
It’s key to notice that the study notes the wording, “a” as in ONE beer.
