Lifeguards and swim experts are warning parents not to buy blue bathing suits for their children this Summer. They say the suits blend into pool water and make it hard to spot children, who may need help.
Swim instructor Korey Dye tells NBC “You want to avoid blue. Go with anything super bright, orange and pink. Especially open water. It’s cloudy and harder to see. You want them to be as easy to spot as possible. It will make it easier to supervise if you can see them.”
