A massive data correction by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit wiped 123 confirmed COVID-19 cases from the region’s running totals on Tuesday afternoon.

Across the five counties of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, the revised running total of cases within the region now lies at 4,694.

While no new cases of COVID-19 have been reported across the counties in recent days, the active caseload includes three cases in Russell, three in Hawkesbury, two in Clarence-Rockland and one in The Nation.
