Patios are reopening across Prescott Russell today as the province starts to loosen pandemic restrictions. A number of restaurants in Ottawa, Toronto, and London opened their patio this morning at 12:01 am for two hours to take advantage of the re-opening.
Seating is 4 people per table and not necessarily from the same household/family.
Most of Ontario is going into Step 1 of the economic reopening plan, which allows outdoor dining, outdoor fitness classes and bigger outdoor gatherings, up to ten people.
Non-essential retail stores can also open up again.
However, all activities remain subject to capacity limits and other public health measures.
