As Prescott Russell and the rest of the province enters the second step of its reopening framework today, there are only three active COVID-19 cases within the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
Two of the three COVID-19 cases are in Clarence-Rockland and there is one case in The Nation.
That was the only change to the COVID-19 caseload data posted by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit Tuesday afternoon, as no new confirmed cases were added to the region’s tally, which remains at 4,728.
It’s been almost a week since the region had no people hospitalized for treatment.
On the vaccination front, the EOHU reported one of the largest single-day jumps in its numbers, with an additional 5,064 doses added to its ongoing tally, which reached 184,258 in Tuesday’s update.
