They say the number of family arguments over the last two years have climbed big time with parents working from home, and kids always at home doing home school – at least now we can get out of the house – so hopefully those arguments will slow down.
According to a survey, here are the most common family arguments:
- Someone leaving all the lights on when they aren’t in the room
- Someone leaving shoes in the middle of the floor/ in the doorway
- Messy bedrooms
- Someone not doing their fair share of the chores
- Not changing the empty toilet roll when the last of it is used
- When the heating should come on
- Squeezing rubbish into an already full bin rather than emptying it first
- Leaving dirty washing on the floor
- Leaving toilet roll cores on the floor, windowsill etc, i.e. anywhere but the bin
- Someone leaving plates and glasses in their bedroom
A potential pattern here of the guilty suspects? Teenagers?
