A Durham, England KFC manager is under fire for sending a college student the following rejection letter. It read;
“We’re cluckin’ delighted you’re keen to join our flock, however at this moment in time your skills aren’t the secret recipe the Colonel is looking for. But we’d love to hear from you again when you have some more experience under your wing, so please give us a cluck if you would like to apply in the future. Best wishes, Team KFC.”
The college student was baffled with the letter as she worked for over two years at the company previously.
A KFC spokesperson said: “We’re sorry Sophie is disappointed she won’t be able to join the flock in Thinford, we know it’s not easy being turned down for a job which is why we try to make it a little lighter when replying to our applicants. We’d always encourage people to reapply when another position comes available if they’re still keen to join the team.”
