City Of Clarence-Rockland Delays Christmas Parade By One Day

Dec 2, 2022 | 11:17 AM

Due to Environment Canada’s Special Weather Statement announcing hazardous winds of up to 80 km/h that could potentially cause damage to buildings and may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break, the City of Clarence-Rockland has made the decision to change the parade date to Sunday, December 4th, 2022 at 4:30 pm.

All other directives and rules remain the same:

Participant arrival at their designated lineup spot on Heritage Street as of 3pm, and ready for departure as of 4pm. The parade route remains the same; departing from the corner of Heritage and Laurier Streets at 4:30 pm and will end at the corner of St-Joseph and Patricia streets. Access to Rockland Public School parking lot for dismantling remains available.

They request that all participants confirm receipt of an email sent out minutes ago and indicate if they are to participate or not.

On behalf of the City of Clarence-Rockland, they extend their apologies for the unfortunate change of date but want to ensure everyone’s safety.
