Whisky Wonderland is eastern Ontario’s newest and largest whisky event. Located at the Hammond Golf & Country Club, February 17 – February 19 will bring 500 whisky lovers from all over the country to enjoy vendors, speakers, classes, activities, live music, and so much more.
There are a number of businesses participating and supporting the planning and execution of our first annual whisky event. We have an award-winning craft brewery on site, Broken Stick Brewing Company, which will be supporting the event with its various craft beer offerings, as well as a special aged scotch ale. Secondly, we have an onsite restaurant, led by Executive
Chef Nick Berolo. Nick and his team will be creating an array of different food offerings, from a whisky-themed VIP dinner to fine dining hors d’oeuvre for the event itself.
Here are some highlights from the food menu:
● Kentucky BBQ brisket sliders
● Memphis ribwich with McHammond sauce
● Brisket burger sliders with carmalized onion mayo, chedder, and bacon
● Black bean and feta sliders with house salsa and carmalized mayo salsa
● Mini rubans with house sauerkraut on rye bread
● Jackfruit sliders with slaw
Finally, the golf course itself offers two full conference halls, a large indoor restaurant area, and one of the biggest outdoor patios in eastern Ontario.
