“Every stroke counts towards making a difference” a slogan that will truly come into play at Rockland Golf Club on Saturday September 9, 2023 as the course will be hosting the “Sgt Eric Mueller Memorial Fund Raiser Golf Tournament”.
This sold out event with 144 golfers, along with members of The Ontario Provincial Police, and special dignitaries will see all proceeds donated to C.H.E.O.
“Rockland Golf Club was saddened to hear about the loss of officer Mueller, and was honored to be approached to host this fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital Of Eastern Ontario. We decided to donate all green fee costs to CHEO. We are all about giving back to causes, especially those that affect families, especially children.” said Jeff Scott, General Manager of Rockland Golf Club.
Sgt. Mueller, 42, died following a shooting in the early morning hours on May 11 on Laval Street in Bourget. Two other officers were treated for injuries.
