MPP Stéphane Sarrazin announced two major investments from the Ontario government to support housing construction. Hawkesbury will receive 3.83 million to expand its wastewater treatment plant and allow the construction of 3,600 new housing units.
Champlain will obtain $769,000 to modernize the sewers in L’Orignal and support 850 new housing units. These funds come from the Water Network Fund intended to accelerate residential development.
