The Embrun Women’s March, organized by the Novas Centre and the Township of Russell, brought together more than 150 people on Wednesday evening in the spirit of solidarity and the fight against violence against women.

The event denounced the possible cuts of 80% to the budget of the Ministry for Women and Gender Equality. The evening concluded with festive and community activities. The 19th edition will take place in Chute-à-Blondeau in September 2026.
