The mayors of Prescott-Russell say they are satisfied with the initial results of the five-year economic development plan carried out with the Prescott-Russell Development Corporation.
Current projects include: a concierge service to promote industrial and commercial land, the creation of an agri-food innovation centre in Casselman, a central resource to support businesses, as well as new training programs tailored to the needs of the market.
Also, a foundry project in Vars could create more than 600 direct and indirect jobs.
