Luc Périard, a school crossing guard at a school in Alexandria, was seriously injured after trying to avoid a car that was speeding towards him.
As he threw himself to the side, he fell and fractured his leg; a rod had to be installed in his femur at the Cornwall Hospital. The driver will not be charged.
