The construction of a new French-language public high school in Rockland reached a new milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony last Friday. Demanded by both sides for 20 years, the French-speaking students of Clarence-Rockland had to study in Orléans or join the Catholic network. The project, led by CEPEO, is valued at $37 million and aims to provide a modern and accessible local option for young Francophones. The school, located at 300 L’Étang Street in Clarence-Rockland, will welcome 414 students from grades 7 to 12 starting in 2027-2028.
