The Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria hopes to attract Quebec doctors who are concerned about Bill 2, which will reduce their compensation and tie part of their salary to performance targets as early as 2026. The centre has received several calls, with no commitment to date, and offers office space and incentives to establish an on-site practice. More than 300 Quebec doctors have already applied for a license elsewhere. HGMH sees an opportunity to strengthen its team as the region grows.
