Centre d’accueil Roger-Seguin Receives Major Long Term Financial Aid

By Derrick Scott Dec 3, 2025 | 5:37 AM

The Centre d’accueil Roger-Séguin has obtained financial security thanks to a new long-term agreement with the United Counties of Prescott and Russell. This support guarantees between $250,000 and $750,000 per year for 25 years to support the new retirement home project in Clarence Creek. The funding will help close the operating deficit and ensure the viability of the future facility. The agreement also provides that a mayor will sit on the center’s board. This support is seen as essential to modernizing facilities and meeting the growing need for long-term care.
