Last Thursday Stacey Laviolette, and Keith Lanctot, the co-inventors of My Friend Toothy hosted a viewing party at Broadway Bar & Grill Rockland to watch their pitch on the popular CBC series. Even though the couple did not get a cash deal, they did secure a mentorship with one of the Dragons.
Through ticket sales to the event, and a portion of food and drinks sold, along with a “match and donate” from the couple, enough money was raised to purchase 40 My Friend Toothy kits for Valoris Prescott-Russell.
Broadway Bar & Grill Rockland is no stranger to giving back. In October they hosted the BIG-FM Bash, and helped raise close to $7,000 for Canadian Mental Health, and The Rockland Help Centre. The next big event planned for Broadway Bar & Grill is their New Years Eve Party. Tickets are available now at the restaurant.
