A public consultation on the Alto high-speed rail project will be held on January 29 at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre. Announced in December by the federal government, the first section will connect Ottawa and Montreal, possibly crossing Prescott-Russell and North Glengarry.
Citizens will be able to ask questions and share their ideas for the route.
Construction is planned for 2029.
