Work on the new Russell Recreation Complex made good progress in January. On the outside, the structure closes with the installation of walls, insulation, metal cladding and soon glass sections. Inside, the framing of the walls advances into the arenas and pool, the masonry continues, and the concrete slabs of the main spaces are poured. Mechanical, electrical and roofing work continues.
The new centre is scheduled to open this fall.
