Work is underway at the entrance to the Hawkesbury Public Library to correct draught and humidity problems. These are repairs to improve comfort, not cosmetic renovations. The municipal building, dating from the 1970s, experienced air infiltration in winter and excess humidity in summer, sometimes leading to temporary closures.
