The South Nation Conservation lifted its low water advisory after water conditions normalized throughout its territory. The Level 3 advisory had been in effect since last August due to a severe drought that led to historically low groundwater levels and private well issues. Thanks to precipitation, snowmelt and milder weather, water indicators have recovered.
Despite this improvement, the CNS encourages the population to continue to conserve water and will continue to monitor conditions in the region.
