It has been four years since Jumbo Pizza dominated the “pie” business in Clarence-Rockland and beyond with its mix of specialty pizzas, a variety of other dishes, and an ongoing focus on giving back to charities and causes. Former owner Justin Dupuis is bringing back his successful formula with the next phase of Jumbo Pizza Rockland, at its original location on Laurier Street in Rockland.
Jumbo Pizza will re-open its doors on Tuesday, February 10, at 11:00 a.m., and former owner Justin Dupuis could not be happier.
To celebrate the re-opening, Dupuis and his staff will be hosting an Open House on Sunday, February 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., inviting the community to stop by for a slice of pizza, with all proceeds donated to The Rockland Soup Kitchen and Hands of Hope at New Beginning Church on Giroux Street.
On what couldn’t have been a more perfect day — National Pizza Day — Dupuis appeared on The BIG Breakfast with Derrick Scott. Right at the top of the discussion, the first question was: “Why now, with all the competition, did you decide to bring back Jumbo Pizza?”
