The Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and the Township of North Glengarry will share equally the design costs of the Main Street redevelopment project in Alexandria, which is just over $160,000. The design, entrusted to EVB Engineering, will cover Main Street, Mill Square and County Road 10. The revised costs are within the approved county budget. The project aims to make the downtown more pedestrian, cyclist and motorist friendly.
