A major project will begin on February 17 on the Paul-Émile-Lévesque Bridge in Casselman, the only road link crossing the South Nation River. The work, which will continue until the end of 2026, includes the complete reconstruction of the deck, widening the roadway, adding a widened pedestrian sidewalk, new steel guardrails and street lighting.
The bridge will remain open, but with narrowed lanes and sometimes restricted pedestrian access.
