Two people have been taken into custody following a reported robbery at a bank in Rockland. OPP responded to the situation on Laurier Street just before 9:30 this morning (Friday, Feb. 27).
The individuals involved left the area in a pick up truck, but officers quickly located and stopped the vehicle on County Road 17 in Plantagenet. Two people were safely taken into custody.
Police did not release the name of the bank, however we were informed by several residents that it was Scotiabank.
