Bricks came loose from the front wall of the building that houses Vankleek Hill’s food bank and thrift store on Main Street East on Sunday. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. and the bricks fell on the sidewalk, which was immediately closed for safety reasons. A volunteer was inside, but no one was injured. The organization, a tenant of the building, will close its doors today to allow for repairs.
