The Alfred-Plantagenet Town Council supports the Plantagenet Family Health Team’s request for provincial funding to renovate the former Valoris building and expand its clinic. The aim is to compensate for the lack of space and to accommodate an additional doctor. More than 1,800 residents of Prescott-Russell currently do not have a family doctor. The work would provide a doctor to about 1,200 people by mid-2027. The clinic is now awaiting the provincial government’s response to its request.
