Ambulance Response Times Improving In The Region

By Derrick Scott Apr 7, 2026 | 6:23 AM

The Prescott-Russell Ambulance Service reports an improvement in its response times thanks to a new 911 call prioritization system, implemented in April 2024. According to Director Marc-André Périard, this approach reduces calls to other ambulance services and speeds up the transport of patients to the hospital. In 2025, service meets or nearly exceeds the ministry’s targets for several categories of emergency calls, including the most serious cases.
