The non profit animal rescue, Penny Lane Farm Sanctuary in Saint Pascal Baylon is going through financial hard times due to the rising cost of vet bills, fuels, and feed for the animals. Karyn Boswell, the owner of the sanctuary is asking for the public’s help, including the re-building of fences, and pens for the animals. She is hoping that the community will rally together for a few “working days” to repair damage, and areas of the farm that need replacing.

Karyn was on the BIG Breakfast with Derrick Scott Monday morning to talk about the sanctuary’s history, the number of animals that Penny Lane cares for and the various types. During the discussion, Derrick outlined the upcoming fundraisers that are being planned, and came together in about 24 hours.
