Population In SDG Is Increasing

The population is increasing in Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry. According to Statistics Canada, a growth of about five per cent since 2020. The region now has more than 72,000 residents. Cornwall is up even more than that, about 10 per cent. Its population now exceeds 54,000 inhabitants. Elected officials attribute this growth to economic development and partnerships. Several municipalities are also recording steady gains. And the entire region now exceeds 128,000 residents.
