The Township of Russell is now allowing citizens to submit their questions in advance for Town Council meetings. Questions must relate to a topic on the agenda and be submitted online, by email or in writing by noon on the day of the meeting. If approved, they will be played publicly and livestreamed. The municipality wants to encourage citizen participation, even from a distance.
