The OPP arrested a woman wanted on a warrant during a 3:45am traffic stop in Clarence-Rockland Tuesday morning. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of the following items:
– $795 in Canadian currency
– One conducted energy weapon (Taser) – classified as a prohibited weapon
– Approximately 17 grams of cocaine
– Approximately 8 grams of crack cocaine
– 24 pills of Dilaudid (Hydromorphone)
– 9 pills of TEC (Codeine)
As a result of the investigation, a female has been charged with: Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
and Possession of a prohibited weapon. The driver was charged with speeding. The name of the woman was not disclosed by police.
