Council for the Township of Champlain supports revisions to the proposed Park View Homes subdivision in Vankleek Hill following a decision by the Ontario Land Tribunal. The project provides for 95 units, including 79 townhouses and a building with 16 units. Council initially rejected the official plan amendment required for the extension, but the court approved it. The issue of a buffer zone near CN tracks will be considered during the detailed design.
In addition, Council also adopted a subdivision agreement with Habitations Robert for Phase 2 of the Vankleek Hill Valleys development. This phase includes 29 residential lots, the extension of Farmer’s Avenue and the creation of new Milner Street.
