Franco-Ontarian Patrick J. Boucher Named Ontario’s Chief Justice of the Superior Court

Franco-Ontarian Patrick J. Boucher, originally from Kapuskasing, has been appointed Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. He succeeds Geoffrey B. Morawetz following his retirement, taking on one of the highest judicial positions in the province and the country.

A judge since 2009, Boucher has served as Regional Senior Judge for Northeastern Ontario since 2024.
