Motorists should expect several road closures and traffic disruptions across Eastern Ontario over the coming weeks.

The largest project is on Highway 34, where Ontario Ministry of Transportation work begins today between Highway 417 and Vankleek Hill, as well as north of the County Road 17 overpass. Until October 2, traffic will be reduced to a single lane, with temporary full road closures also planned.

In Chute-à-Blondeau, resurfacing work and the rehabilitation of the Dan Kirby Bridge continue on County Road 4. The closure between Du Golf Road and Gourley Road has been extended until July 22.

In Casselman, the next phase of construction on the Paul-Émile Lévesque Bridge begins July 15. Pedestrian access will be completely closed during this stage of the project.

Finally, in The Nation Municipality, County Road 3 (Route 600 East) will be temporarily closed tomorrow, July 14, to allow for the replacement of a culvert.
