The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation is proud to announce that its 44th Annual Golf Classic raised an outstanding $109,103 in support of regional healthcare, surpassing this year’s ambitious goal of $100,000.

Held on July 7th and 8th in Hawkesbury, the annual tournament brought together golfers,
donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters for a memorable event
dedicated to strengthening care close to home.

“We are truly grateful for the incredible generosity shown by our community,” said Erin
Tabakman, HGH Foundation Executive Director. “Because of every golfer, donor, volunteer,
sponsor, and supporter who contributed to this year’s Golf Classic, we not only reached
our goal — we exceeded it. This achievement will help make a meaningful difference for
patients and families at HGH.”

The funds raised through the Golf Classic will support the HGH Foundation’s mission to
help the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital purchase vital medical equipment,
improve care and services, and expand access to specialized healthcare for the region.
The HGH Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to the event’s major sponsors: ALX
Legal, Hawkesbury Ford, Malaket Furniture, Emond Harnden Labour and Employment Law,
Friends of HGH, GO FM 92.1 and MD Management. And a special thank you to all other
sponsors, donors, golfers, and the amazing volunteers who made this event possible. Your
support is helping transform healthcare in our region.

From every swing on the course to every donation made, this year’s event is a powerful
reminder of what can be achieved when the community comes together for a cause that
matters.
