The Municipality of Champlain has appointed Francois Turpin as Interim Director General. Since July 13, he has ensured the continuity of municipal services until the appointment of a permanent director general after the 2026 municipal elections. The municipality also announced the hiring of Adrien Tremblay as its new planning advisor, who will take office on August 24, 2026. According to Mayor Normand Riopel, these appointments will ensure the stability of the administration and move forward with the municipality’s important projects.
