DV GO Shuttle Pauses Regular Service, Remains Available for Special Events

DV GO Shuttle has announced that its regular shuttle service between Rockland and Orléans, along with its in-town Rockland routes, will be temporarily put on hold starting Friday, July 31, 2026.

The local transportation company says the decision comes after ridership numbers were not high enough to support daily operations.

While regular weekday service is paused, DV GO Shuttle will continue operating on weekends for special events, weddings, private bookings, community events, and charter services.

Launched as a new local business serving the Rockland community, DV GO Shuttle says the challenges of building ridership and securing ongoing support have made it difficult to maintain regular operations at this time.

The company remains hopeful that new opportunities and partnerships could become available following the municipal election, allowing regular shuttle service to return in the future.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported DV GO Shuttle from the very beginning,” the company said in a statement. “Thank you to our passengers, local businesses, partners, and community members who believed in our vision and helped make this initiative possible.”

DV GO Shuttle says this is not goodbye, but rather see you later,” and hopes to once again provide transportation options for residents of Rockland and surrounding communities.
