Justin Dupuis and Jumbo Pizza Rockland have been synonymous with giving back to the community for over a decade. The business has given out meals to families in need, raises funds for multi charities. Dupuis says it’s his/their way of thanking the community for supporting the business over the years.
This morning on the BIG Breakfast with Derrick Scott Dupuis announced Jumbo Pizza’s next initiative in association with BIG-FM, and sister station, 92.1 GO-FM, Grab A Slice For Mental Health.
On September 12, from 12:00pm-3:00pm residents are invited to Jumbo Pizza, to see their new dine in area, that will also be used to host birthday parties, and special gatherings, or to simply enjoy a pizza amongst friends, to enjoy a slice of pizza and a drink for $5.00.
All money raised will be donated to Canadian Mental Health Champlain East, keeping the dollars in our region. If you missed the chat this morning, you can listen back below.
The event ties in with the GO BIG Pizza, the largest pizza of its kind between Toronto and Montreal, a 25” pie with three toppings in which proceeds from the sale will go to a different charities every four months. Now with the dine in area, schools, businesses, service clubs can take advantage of this initiative easier, raising more funds and awareness for charities that are important to our community.
