Members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person for impaired driving related charges.
On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at approximately 07:50 p.m., officers responded to a traffic complaint in the township of Champlain.
As a result of the investigation, Joey MCCULLOCH, a 38-year-old male from Hawkesbury, Ontario has been charged with the following offences.
· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Drive motor vehicle in contravention of conditions
The motorist received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
