Fire up the smokers and get ready to dig in — the 2026 Casselman Ribfest and Poutine is taking over the JR Brisson Complex this weekend, August 21 to 23.
The three-day, family-friendly event promises plenty of food, live entertainment and fun, with free admission all weekend. The JR Brisson Complex is located at 758 Brisson Street in Casselman, just off Highway 417.
The main attraction will be the rib row, featuring two award-winning barbecue teams: Jack the Ribber and Boss Hogs BBQ. Both teams are known for their Southern-style barbecue, fall-off-the-bone ribs and signature sauces.
Rib lovers won’t be the only ones getting their fill. The Great Canadian Poutinerie will be serving up a selection of gourmet poutines, bringing plenty of cheesy, gravy-covered comfort food to the festival.
There will also be something for those looking for a sweet treat or something a little lighter, with Pink’s Mini Donuts, Heavenly Ice Cream, Fresh Lemonade and the award-winning buttertarts from Capital B Cafe all joining the food lineup.
And for those looking to make a day of it, the festival’s new Bevvy Garden will offer Big Joe Beer, cocktails from Founders Original and mixed drinks from Joe Mufferaw Spirits.
Food and drinks will be accompanied by live music throughout the weekend on The Big Sticky Stage.
“Casselman, you are in for a BIG STICKY TREAT!” said event organizer Les Gagne. “We invite everyone to come have a FA BU LOUS Time and make Ribfest and Poutine your very own Staycation this weekend.”
The festival gets underway Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday evening.
