North Glengarry will contribute an additional $6,200 for a new signage in Maxville, bringing its total contribution to more than $21,000. The total project will cost approximately $75,000 with $54,000 coming from local organizations. The shortfall will be made up by a surplus in the sports complex’s operating budget. Councillor Brian Caddell opposed it, saying it did not make sense to dip into the budget of a loss-making facility. Installation is scheduled for late fall 2026.
