The Alexandria Royal Canadian Legion Branch 423 is among a slate of people and organizations being recognized by North Glengarry.
The Legion will receive the Legacy Award at the 2026 Evening of Excellence Awards at the Maxville Sports Complex in about a month.
Sadie and June, an Alexandria gift shop which makes maps embroidered with hearts, will be awarded Business of the Year Award.
Classic rock and country music group The Panoramic will pick up the Youth of the Year Award during the ceremony on September 24th.
Barry MacDonald will be named Citizen of the Year.
