Clarence-Rockland Approves $750,000 Loan Guarantee For Bourget Train Station Project

The City of Clarence-Rockland has authorized a loan guarantee of approximately $750,000 to support the ongoing Bourget Train Station project.

Mayor Mario Zanth shared the news on his social media, noting that Council approved By-law 2026-85 during its August 12, 2026 meeting.

The by-law authorizes the City to guarantee a loan agreement with 14802822 Canada Inc. The financing will be used for leasehold improvements and equipment needed for the Bourget Train Station project.

According to the City, the loan guarantee is an important step toward advancing the project and completing the improvements and equipment needed to prepare the station facilities for their intended use.

The City says preserving and enhancing infrastructure that contributes to the vitality of Bourget and the broader Clarence-Rockland community remains an important priority.
