The City of Clarence-Rockland is providing a loan guarantee of approximately $750,000 to advance the redevelopment of the Bourget station. This amount will be used to finance the necessary amenities and equipment. The $1.5 million project will transform the former railway station, built in 1893, into a community and tourism hub located along the Prescott and Russell Recreation Trail. The inauguration is scheduled for the end of the year.
