The Township of Champlain will open a temporary site for organic waste at the Vankleek Hill municipal garage. The free service will be offered every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, from September 19 to November 14. Leaves, yard waste and small branches will be accepted, but must be placed in brown paper bags or tied in bales. A home collection will also take place from November 2 to 8.
