Champlain Township is now making its asset management plan a priority, after missing a provincial deadline. The township’s last plan dates back to 2019, and the delay could affect its ability to qualify for some provincial infrastructure funding. The Mayor says he’s especially concerned about funding applications connected to the planned reconstruction of Main Street in Vankleek Hill. Staff are working on an updated plan and expect to bring it to council by the end of October.
