The Caisse Desjardins Ontario is awarding $500,000 to 20 community projects as part of its Mid-2026 Development Fund. Four Eastern Ontario initiatives have been selected: the expansion of the Clarence-Rockland Help Centre, the creation of a learning and leadership centre for Francophone youth in Casselman, and the purchase of a CT scanner for the Glengarry Memorial Hospital in Alexandria. Another project in Casselman involves the construction of two docks to improve access to the South Nation River and promote outdoor activities.
